Gabriel Armand Allard Du Plantier, was a French cavalry officer who served as aide-de-camp to General Lafayette in Continental Army, 1781. 

He was the agent in selection of lands in Louisiana given by Congress to Lafayette and host to the General Lafayette on his 1825 visit to Louisiana.
